Who we are

CouncilMinds Publishing & Research (“CouncilMinds,” “we,” “us”) publishes books and educational resources. You can reach us at contact@councilminds.com.

What we collect and why

• Purchases. Payments are handled by Gumroad, which collects your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the information Gumroad shares with sellers, such as your name, email address, and order details. We use it to deliver your purchase, give support, and send updates to products you bought.
• Your files. Gumroad may print your email address on every page of a PDF you buy. A workbook copy from our Reader Portal shows your email address on its Dashboard and on every printed page. These marks identify your licensed copy.
• The Reader Portal. When you sign in, our server checks your license key with Gumroad and receives your email address. We set a secure sign-in cookie so you stay signed in. We may keep a record of workbook downloads (your email address, the time, and your IP address) to protect our products from unauthorized sharing.
• Messages. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
• Website visits. Our website host may record technical information such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe to a CouncilMinds email update, we keep your email address to send it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How we use and share information

We use your information to deliver products, provide support, send product updates, protect against misuse, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example Gumroad, our website and server hosts, and our email tools), and when the law requires it. Those providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and as the law requires. You may ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email we send. You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to contact@councilminds.com. Some information is held by Gumroad, and you can manage it through your Gumroad account.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service is perfectly secure.

Children

Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date below when we do. See also our Terms and License and Risk Disclosure.
